Training in Saint-Petersburg

Within the frameworks of the GF Program “Promoting a strategic response to TB treatment and care for vulnerable populations in the Russian Federation” with the purpose of postgraduate education of medical workers during June-July 2006 the education seminars will be held designed for «Drugs Management of TB drugs”. In total 14 education seminars will be held: one – of federal level, three – of district and 10 – of oblast level. For such trainings target financing was disbursed (a grant) to Russian Center of pharmaceutical and medico-technical information (RC “Pharmedinfo”), which will deal with organization-technical support of seminars (Director of RC “Pharmedinfo” Shashkova Galina Vladimirovna). First workshop of federal level with international participation will be conducted during June 5-9, 2006 in Moscow at Sechenov Medical Academy. The workshop will be conducted with the support of WHO. Russian specialists will become participants of the workshop, responsible for provision and rational using of TB drugs in the limits of their organizations’ responsibility.
2-days seminars of district level will be conducted for specialists from Central, South and North-West Federal districts.

1-day seminars of Oblast level are projected for Ryazan’, Rostov, Moscow, Leningrad, Kaluga, Tula, Vladimir and other Oblasts.

Expenses for participation in the workshops will be paid from target recourses of the GF Program, i.e. travel expenses to Moscow and back (ticket in compartment carriage or airway ticket of economy class), accommodation in hotel, dinner and coffee-break in pauses between courses. The participants should book and gain the back tickets themselves. Compensation of the participants’ transport expenses will be done if travel documents, business trip document and order for the trip are available.

The GF Program “Promoting a strategic response to TB treatment and care for vulnerable populations in the Russian Federation” disbursed target recourses (grants) for organization and conduction of 5-days trainings designed for «TB patients treatment and monitoring” to the following regional settings:

• Kurgan Oblast TB dispensary;
• Republican TB clinic, Republic of Mariy-El;
• Republican TB clinic-dispensary, Republic of Buryatia;
• Republican TB clinic-dispensary, Republic of Komi;
• Republican TB clinic-dispensary, Republic of Dagestan.

Trainings shall invite by 30 republican and regional medical workers from civilian and penitentiary sectors, responsible TB treatment and monitoring in regional health facilities.
As a result of trainings the medical workers will learn to work out their own effective Programs of TB treatment and monitoring in an actual setting, to prepare quarter reports in accordance with the Decree No. 50 of 13.02.2004 of RMoH&SD. Trainings will take place in the cities of Kurgan (May 29-June 2, 2006), Ioshkar Ola (May 22-26 this year), Ulan-Ude (June 19-23 июня this year), Syktyvkar (June 5 – 9 июня this year), Makhachkala (July 3-7 июля this year).

March 24 – 25, 2006 – within the frameworks of the conference “ To fight MDR-TB” which was convened by Novosibirsk TB Research Institute with participation of a charity organization “Partners to the name of health”, Program of WHO to fight TB in the Russian Federation and with financial support of the GF Program «Promoting a strategic response to TB treatment and care for vulnerable populations in the Russian Federation” a 2-days workshop was conducted designed for «Infectious control in TB settings”.
During the education course the participants received knowledge under the following aspects:
• Infectious control methods;
• Biologic safety and ways of MDR-TB transmission, cross contamination;
• Methods of reduction of nosocomial prevalence of MDR-TB;
• Administrative component of infectious control;
• Modern access to air decontamination and disinfection in health settings;
• Personal protection of respiratory organs.
30 specialists were educated from TB health settings of Amursk, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Chita Oblasts, as well as Altai, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk Districts, Aginsk-Buryatsk, Taimyr, Ust-Ordynsk-Buryatsk autonomic Oblasts, Republics of Altai, Buryatia, Sakha, Tyva, Khakassia.

Фонд "Российское здравоохранение" приглашает специалистов Минздравсоцразвития РФ и Минюста РФ, а также врачей противотуберкулезных учреждений на семинары по теме "Лекарственный менеджмент".

Курс обучения направлен на освоение принципов организации лекарственного обеспечения в современных условиях и методов оптимизации работы существующих на региональном и муниципальном уровнях систем.

Семинар федерального уровня ориентирован на специалистов Минздравсоцразвития РФ, Минюста РФ, сотрудников федеральных НИИ, главных врачей-фтизиатров из федеральных округов и сотрудников медицинских вузов. Длительность обучения - 5 дней.

Семинар окружного уровня организован для персонала областных программ по борьбе с туберкулезом. Длительность обучения - 2 дня.

Семинар регионального уровня ориентирован на участковых специалистов территории. Длительность обучения - 1 день.

Семинары будут проведены тренерами, подготовленными в рамках реализации Программы ВОЗ по борьбе с туберкулезом в Российской Федерации и владеющими современными подходами в области лекарственного менеджмента.

Период проведения семинаров: апрель - декабрь 2006 года.

В соответствии с Планом реализации Программы "Развитие стратегии лечения населения Российской Федерации, уязвимого к туберкулезу" запланировано обучение врачей и средних медицинских работников по теме "Организация оказания помощи больным с МЛУ ТБ с вопросами инфекционного контроля".

На семинар, который пройдет в период 19-29 марта 2006 года на базе пансионата "Сосновка", г.Новосибирск, приглашаются сотрудники (1-3 человека) лечебных учреждений гражданского и пенитенциарного секторов территорий зоны курации Новосибирского НИИ туберкулеза (заместитель главного врача по лечебной части, заведующий отделением, где проходят лечение пациенты с МЛУ ТБ, главный фтизиатр УФСИН территории или эквивалентные им должности).

Структура программы семинара: 5 учебных дней посвящаются различным аспектам диагностики и лечения пациентов с МЛУ ТБ; 2 дня - проблематике инфекционного контроля; 3 дня - организации мероприятий по борьбе с МЛУ ТБ.

Курс по инфекционному контролю будет сосредоточен на административном и техническом обеспечении внутрибольничных мероприятий и соблюдении мер индивидуальной защиты.
